Day with Blake and Grandma D.

Back in August I was privileged to play with Blake while Chris, Liz, Tyler, Amanda and Amanda's friend Crystal went to Lagoon. Blake and I played, talked, blew bubbles, laughed, and he even zonked out for a little while. I LOVE being a Grandma. The grandkids are the BEST part.

Surprise visit from Chad & Katy

Chad cuts trees for a living working with the forestry fire dept. He misses the job so he was glad to trim our walnut trees.
Braxton is a busy guy.

Michael, Katy, and Braxton. It shows in Katy's face just how much she loves her job as MOM.

Okay- this picture does not belong in this story. This is Grandpa Ben Frei. He is staying with Ben and Aurelia. He really is a happy guy. He just woke up from a snooze and is probably bored, but too polite to say so. Diane and her family are here from California and we had a dinner at mom's after church Sunday. This picture was taken after the food was finished and the visiting had been going on for hours. (I haven't figured out how to delete the picture from this story)

Michael is watching his dad play with the chainsaw.

Braxton testing the texture of magnets.

I like Grandma- she lets me try new things.

Yellow tastes good.

This one tastes okay too.

Family Night

Families that play together stay together.

Monday night FHE

We were going to read aloud the 20 pages of geology Andi needed to finish for her class- then she remembered she had a worksheet due the next day. She had to go on campus to look at rocks displayed at the Pope Science Center. So we skipped the reading and went on a field trip. It was a fun way to spend the evening together. I was surprised that there is actually interesting stuff at UVU. The new library is beautiful. Maybe we will go there on a future field trip.

The rocks were way cool. We watched the pendulum and gazed into dead animal faces. There was a sign telling us not to feed the animals. So we didn't. Notice the group photo proving we were all there together. (the building photo is the library)
