Getting In The Spirit Of Halloween

It has been a long time
since anyone carved pumpkins around this house.

Actually we did the deed at Andi's new place.

Andi's pumpkin is real cute with an Owl perched on a branch

and a cool effect with reversed carving of leaves.

I hope to get a pic. I think Amanda has one on her cell phone.

In Honor of October

This glowing creature was in a web twenty feet up

between two very tall trees.

I am glad to say he was not athletic,

(as in the jumping kind)

and he didn't seem to drool.

(thank goodness).

I hope I never view a web this large, close up.
