A Wish Come True

Aurelia's birthday wish for 2010
was to have as many of her siblings and family
as possible to attend a temple session together
in the Manti Temple.
Knowing this would not likely happen on it's own
I set a date and invited family to attend.
Saturday September 9th a small group of us
were privileged to perform baptisms and receive
temple endowments for deceased persons in the Manti Temple.
A kind gentleman took this picture (above)
of Amanda and I after Amanda took a photo
of his group on his camera for him.
Melanie, Aurelia, Mom, Nani, and myself
after the session and baptisms.

It was a treat to get together with a few of my extended
family to create Aurelia's birthday wish.

Jessica, Melanie, Amanda, Karen (me), Sarah.

The youth in our group.

Photo shoot while we wait for the rest of our group to join
us after we completed proxy baptisms.
An endowment session takes more time than baptisms.

The Manti temple is built on the side of a hill.

This door is normally not used.
Except, as in this case, as a prop for picture taking.

On the drive to Manti
we drove past a Llama farm.

We didn't have time to stop on the way there,
but the occupants of my car allowed me five minutes
to indulge in getting closer to the animals
and take a FEW pics on the way home.

Obviously the 'black sheep' of this group.

Is your Momma a Llama?
Mines not.

Karen, HOW FUN!!! It was also fun to see how Nani turned out after all these years. Your family looks great!
